The City is proud to offer numerous free activities, to entertain young and older children alike.

Stay Safe!

Fat bike rental

Meet us at Robillard Park at the designated pop-up tent to borrow fat bikes this winter season. Explore the park or use the nearby bike paths.

Location: Parc Robillard 
Schedule: Sundays February 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Clientele: 10 years and older

First come, first serve!

Ten bikes of different sizes will be available. Bring your own helmet.

Please note that the rental is free, limited to one hour and is reserved for residents of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.*
*Please have a valid proof of residency, such as a driver's license, at the time of reservation.

Outdoor day at the Arboretum

Rediscover nature’s pleasures during a day dedicated to the outdoors.

Hiking trails, slides, snowshoes and cross-country ski trails will be at your disposal.  There's plenty to keep you busy!Please note there is no equipment rental service onsite, and you must bring your own equipment.

Schedule: Mondays February 27th and March 6th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: Free for residents, online reservation is mandatory. The number of tickets is limited!

Reserve your ticket via the Voilà! platform from February 1st to February 12th inclusively by selecting:

-          The day of your visit, either Monday February 27th OR Monday March 6th;

-          The type and number of tickets, either a family ticket (which includes 2 adults and up to 6 children (aged 4 to 14) in the same car), OR individual adult tickets.

Paper tickets will be mailed directly to your home during the week of February 20th.

Please note that family tickets and individual tickets cannot be combined and only one family ticket per family and one individual ticket per adult may be reserved.

Please limit yourself to one day to allow as many residents as possible to enjoy the activities. Each reservation will be verified before being mailed, and the City reserves the right to modify and/or cancel a reservation if it does not respect the described instructions.

 

A visit to the Zoo

Spend your morning at the Zoo! The City is happy to invite you to a delightful outing.

Clientele: All ages are welcome
Schedule: Tuesdays February 28th and March 7th, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Cost: Free admission for residents, proof of residence required at the ticket office

The Ecomuseum Zoo is the one and only outdoor zoo on the island of Montreal.

Meet some fascinating species of Quebec wildlife, including mammals such as the river otter or the grey wolf, birds such as the golden eagle or the snowy owl. In addition, you should know that in winter, 90% of the animals are visible. The joys of the cold season!

To participate, simply present yourself at the ticket office with a valid proof of residence.

 

Water Polo and Open Swim

The City invites its residents to the Casgrain Pool at John Abbott College during spring break!

Introduction to Water Polo

Location: John Abbott College Casgrain Pool
Clientele:
10 years and older. Participants must be able to swim one length of the pool on their stomach and back without assistance or floating aid.
Schedule: Wednesdays, March 1st and 8th from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Open Swim

Location: John Abbott College Casgrain Pool
Clientele:
All*
Schedule: Wednesdays, March 1st and 8th from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.

To access the pool, simply present yourself at the pool, on deck at the entrances to the locker rooms with a valid proof of residence.

*The following individuals must be accompanied in the water by an individual who is 13 years of age or older; children ages 0 – 5 years old, any person wearing a personal flotation device, any person who is a weak swimmer or a “non-swimmer”.

All children ages 6-12 years old must be under the supervision of an individual who is 13 years of age or older, the individual supervising the child(ren) must be present on the pool deck.

Although encouraged, bathing caps are not required.

 

Board Game Afternoon

Location: CentreHarpell
Schedule: Thursday, March 2nd from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cost: Free

Are you a board game enthusiast, or are looking to introduce your children to the world of board games?

Did you know the library has a large selection of games for all ages, available to rent all year long? Come on down to discover them and have a grand time with friends or family. A great opportunity to share time between grandparents and grandchildren.

 

Movie Night

What better way to end (and for some, start) spring break than with a movie night! Come and enjoy our big screen with family and friends.

Popcorn and other surprises will be provided free of charge by the recreation department.

Bring your own chairs, blankets, and pillows to make yourself comfortable.

Family Day

We have already started to feel the mild temperatures. To celebrate the arrival of the Maple Sugar Season, the City is offering a family day of fun for everyone! Join us on March 4th and enjoy the various activities offered by the Recreation Department. Outdoor games, Maple Syrup Taffy, BBQ ($),  traditional Quebec music, face painting for children and more.

Dive into the world of LEGO® MINECRAFT® brick building. To accomplish your mission, you will learn how to build custom MINECRAFT® castles, houses and villages.

This workshop is for beginners or talented builders, ideal to stimulate your imagination and creativity! Parental attendance is optional.

Skating and sliding

Come and enjoy the great outdoors with classic activities such as sliding and skating. A portion of our rinks is set up for ice hockey and another is dedicated to free skating.
