SENIOR FRIENDLY MUNICIPALITY (MADA) | Consultation of citizens aged over 65

Category : Elders

Last spring, the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue surveyed its seniors as part of its MADA (Municipalité amie des aînés) program.

MADA aims to identify the needs of seniors and promote a culture of social inclusion regardless of age or ability, as well as encourage active aging among seniors.

In the second phase of consultation, the committee will contact citizens directly via focus groups or phone conversations.

The survey is open to anyone 65 years of age or older who lives in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and has not participated in the previous survey.

The options are as follows:

1- Participate in a focus group via videoconference

Each meeting will have approximately 10 participants. Two virtual meetings, lasting up to 75 minutes, are scheduled on the following dates and times:

Friday, August 12 from 9: 30 a.m. to 10: 45 a.m.

Friday, August 19 from 1: 30 to 2: 45 p.m.

To register, please contact the Recreation Department at 514 457-1605. Information on how to participate (login link) will be sent to you by email.

2- Be contacted by phone to discuss with committee members

These consultations will take place on the following dates and times:

Friday, August 12 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Friday, August 19 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

To be contacted, please call the Recreation Department at 514 457-1605. A more precise time slot will then be determined and confirmed by email.
