Conference | Wildlife at the l'Anse-à-l'Orme

Rob Baker is a certified Wildlife tracker who lives and works in Montreal. He is the Outdoor Education Tech at Vanier College... He holds a Level 3 certification in Track and Sign Identification and Trailing. He has over 20 years in the field having tracked wolves in Algonquin Park and Mountain Lions in Colorado. The presentation will feature the animals of the L’Anse-à-L’Orme area, which Rob Baker has been tracking in for over 15 years. He will present photos of the tracks and signs left behind as the animal moves across the landscape. White tailed deer, coyotes, deer mice, red fox, meadow
voles, and mink, otter, and fishers are some of mammals inhabiting the L’Anse-à-L’Orme area.

Babysitting Course

Minimum of 6 registrations required.

Participants learn basic first aid techniques and the skills necessary for taking care of younger children and to prevent and deal with emergencies.

Contest " Sainte-Anne en fleurs"

Annual contest: The judges will take a tour of all the streets twice, between June and August. The owners of the property with the most beautiful flower gardens and balconies in Sainte-Anne will be invited to a reception, which will take place on Monday, September 24th at 7:30 pm at the Centre Harpell, 60 Rue Saint-Pierre.

Creative Writing Workshop

This program allows young people to learn about the operation and culture of the aquatic environment. Participants will meet weekly under the supervision of a lifeguard. Participants would be volunteering, as well as participation in events, programs, aquatic activities and theme evenings.

Join our animators for some cool outings just for teens. These supervised trips will take you to some great destinations like La Ronde, the Old Port, the beach, festivals, etc.

This free course is designed for novices with little to no previous experience with the iPad.
