Marché Ste-Anne is a weekly farmers market of 30+ merchants selling locally raised and prepared foods, many of them organic. There are frequent Culinary Demonstrations, Kids Activities, Live Music and larger scale Food Festivals all year long.

In the summer and fall it is held in its’ home on the waterfront at the corner of Saint-Pierre and Sainte-Anne streets at Lalonde Park. In November it moves indoors for the winter to the local church hall 2 minutes from the lakeshore at St.Georges Anglican Church. The Market is open from 10 am to 1 pm.

The Morgan Arboretum is a 245-hectare forest reserve, locatedon McGill University’s Macdonald Campus in Ste. Anne de Bellevue on the western tip of the island of Montreal. The Arboretum is open daily throughout the year from 9:00 a.m. to visitors who can walk and ski its trails depending on the season. The public contributes to the development and maintenance of the Arboretum through the Morgan Arboretum Association, a non-profit organization.
In addition to natural woodlands containing samples of most of Quebec's native trees, the property supports 18 collections of trees and shrubs from across the world including species of fir, oak, birch, maple, linden, spruce and flowering trees. The Arboretum is also home to 30 species of mammals, 20 species of reptiles and amphibians, and over 170 species of migratory and overwintering birds.

The Bellevue Observatory is located at the Morgan Arboretum, in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, close to the Conservation Centre (150 chemin des Pins, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue), on McGill University’s Macdonald Campus. This location offers the darkest area on the island of Montreal to observe the night sky.

Located on the waterfront of McGill’s Macdonald Campus in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, directly across from the 211 STM bus stop.
The Mac Paddle Shack provides paddlers and would-be paddlers with a chance to enjoy the waters of lac St. Louis on a kayak, paddle board (SUP) or canoe. Hourly rentals, paddling instruction and paddle board yoga classes are available to the general public and McGill and John Abbott communities.
Wet suits (shorty-style), dry bags and waterproof phone cases and waterproof speakers are available to rent on site. Lockers are available free of charge.

McGill University’s Macdonald Campus Farm is embarking on an ambitious project to renovate the century old dairy barn into a new centre to welcome visitors to the world of food production.
The only operating dairy farm on the island of Montreal, the Macdonald Campus Farm welcomes school visits during the months of May and June. All weekend and summer visits and summer day camps are unavailable while construction takes place, BUT will come back bigger and better when the Macdonald Farm Community Engagement Centre opens in the fall of 2018!
