2017 Neighbours Day

Date: Saturday, June 10th
Location: in your backyard, the lobby of your building, on your street, in your local park, etc.

It is time to plan your participation in the 2017 Neighbours’ Day! A fun way to get to know each other better and strengthen good neighbourly relations.

Neighbours’ Day is simply neighbours extending invitations for Happy Hour (5 à 7), a barbecue, a picnic, a pot luck buffet, a dessert contest, etc. with the goal of getting to know each other.

Why participate in Neighbours’ Day?
• To develop a sense of belonging, mutual assistance and a feeling of safety;
• To bridge the gap between generations and citizens of diverse origins;
• To foster a dynamic of participation in the community.

Babysitting Course

Information : 514-457-1605

Registration: before April 13th, at the Recreation Department or Library. Minimum of 6 registrations required.

Participants learn basic first aid techniques and the skills necessary for taking care of younger children and to prevent and deal with emergencies.

Clientele: Ages 11 to 15 | Bilingual
Location: Chalet Peter-Williamson
Schedule: Sundays, April 23rd and 30th | 9 am to 1 pm
Cost: $45 residents, $55 non-residents | manual included

Battle of the Bands


Due to the lack of participating bands, we have postponed the registration deadline for bands until Friday, April 21st, 11 am. The show/contest will take place on Saturday, May 13th, 7 pm at Centre Harpell.

Registration is free. You need to contact the Recreation Department at 514-457-1605 or by email at The information requested includes the name of the group, the name of each participant and a telephone number.

Do you know a young band in the Greater Montreal area who that deserves to make a name for themselves? Thank you for sharing the news!

Sainte-Anne Singers

“Chants et chandelles” - 30th anniversary concert

A special concert celebrating 30 years of song and featuring many of our favourites. In honour of Montreal’s 375th and Canada’s 150th, our programme draws on music from Quebec and
across Canada. It will include the premiere of an arrangement of “Belle, embarquez” by Mes Aïeux, commissioned for us by Radio-Canada as part of a 150th-anniversary project, and the
Quebec premiere of an award-winning composition by our own Martin Fairbank. Former members of the choir will also add their voices to two special pieces. And of course, there will be cake!

The Town of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue offers you the opportunity to encourage young residents by participating in the Teen Employment Program. This program is aimed at helping you find assistance with your little jobs around the home (raking, babysitting, painting, shovelling, etc.) while offering a local teen a chance at gaining valuable work experience. We have a list of local teens that are dynamic, serious and responsible, that are ready to offer you their services.

In order to register for the program, teens must prepare a résumé, participate in an interview, and demonstrate a motivation to work. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to encourage a local teen while getting your little jobs done.
