Meeting Permit

Is it mandatory to apply for a meeting permit?

2022-11-25 | Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux

For any group event where you intend to sell alcoholic beverages, a "pour vendre" permit is required.

For a group event where you intend to serve free alcoholic beverages that you have purchased or you intend to allow guests to consume beverages that they have brought, a "pour servir" permit is usually required.

However, in some cases, a permit is not required.

For example, if a private event is held in a rented hall, less than 200 people are attending and there is no liquor license operating in the hall (the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue does not have a liquor license in its halls), a "pour servir" permit is not required.  However, a municipal authorization is required. To obtain a municipal authorization, please contact the Recreation Department at loisirs@sadb.qc.ca.

For more information or to see other examples, visit the "Permis de réunion « pour vendre » ou « pour servir » page.
