Solstice Jam

Another remarkable evening for Solstice Jam!

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, January 13, 2009 – For the past 4 years, organizers of the cultural event Solstice Jam, which is an annual show that takes place right before Christmas Holidays, generously gave all the profits to the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Food Bank. This organization helps people in need in our society. This year, the event took place at Harpell Center on December 20, and with the participation of 7 local groups, was able to generate the best profit in the 4 years. The Food Bank received the amount of $3 307,52.

Some artists performing that night also gave their salary to the Food Bank. People in charge of the Food Bank want to thank the organizers Doug Miller and Ian Grey, as well as the several artists who participated in the activity, for their great involvement and their generous contribution.

This year, Mr. Doug Miller presented to Mrs. Noëlla Duchesne, person in charge of the Food Bank, an amount of $3 307,52.
