More than $4 000 for Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue!
After more than two months of campaign in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, 136 citizens have filled up their questionnaire and received a free personalized recommendations report, an equivalent of $4 420 that will be used for the purchase of equipment as part of the landscaping and renovation of Parc Godin.

The Olympic Torch will be passing through Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue!
Residents of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue anxious to catch the Olympic Spirit will have the opportunity to see the Olympic Flame in person on December 8, 2009 as it stops on its way through towards the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue receives a grant of $646,000 from Montreal
On October 27, 2008, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue has received a grant of $646,000 in response to their application to the PR@M-commerce program. Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue was the only demerged city on the West Island to apply for and receive this grant.

On October 28, André Lavallée, Head of public transportation and urban planning of the City of Montréal’s Executive Committee, Chandra A. Madramootoo, Dean of McGill University, John Nassr, ICAM owner as well as Bill Tierney, Mayor of the Town of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue are pleased to officially inaugurate the Town’s new bike path.

The Town of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and the Montreal Municipal Public Service Workers Union met Tuesday September 30, 2008 to sign a new collective agreement for the Town’s white collar workers.

Privilege for our veterans
At the last session of Municipal  Council of the Town of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue held on September 29, it was agreed to allow veterans holding a ‘’veteran’’ registration issued by the SAAQ to park free-of-charge in all Town parking spots which have parking meters.


Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue gives a $50 000 investment to the Ecomuseum
On September 16th, the Ecomuseum was glad to receive $50 000 in financial assistance from the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to help improve their infrastructure. This project consists on connecting the Ecomuseum to the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue water supply and wastewater systems.

Official launching of CJVD 100.1 FM

Approximately 150 representatives and decision-makers from the economic, political, social, artistic, cultural, educational and sports milieus attended the official launching of radio CJVD 100.1 FM on September 11.  The new independent station will be serving the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. (...)

Official inauguration of the SkiWakeSurf inc. Marina in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Following a call for proposals, Parks Canada selected a new promoter to oversee the opening and management of the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue marina. Indeed, since July 1st, 2008, SkiWakeSurf inc. has been serving as the new promoter of the marina in the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue’s Canal National Historic Site of Canada. (...)

New Ways to obtain the Carte Loisirs

At a cost of $20 per person, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue residents can now get the Carte Loisirs which gives them free access to the municipal pool, tennis courts, as well as to open skating activities at the Campus arena.
