Public security

Public Safety is assigned to patrol residential roads and commercial arteries of the City to ensure security by enforcing by-laws on parking, watering, animals, noise, peace and order. It is also authorized to issue warnings or violation tickets to law offenders.

Public Safety officers do not replace police officers who answer to complaints on mischief, vandalism, theft, aggression, in addition to their prevention and crime control responsibilities.
