Car shelters
The Town bylaws authorize the use of temporary car shelters one metre back from the front lot line, during the period of October 15 to April 15.
Wild animals
The Town does not lend cages to capture wild animals: Public Safety is not authorized to relocate them. In case of major problems, the
SPCA may offer advice but not come in person. Public safety has a document from the SPCA on the subject; which is available upon request at 514-630-1234.
Residents must, at their own expense, call a private exterminator if need be.

During no time should water from the sprinkler run off in the street or onto neighbours' properties. Dog tags
Dog tags are now sold at the City Hall. Tags for 2011 cost $15 and are valid from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012.
The municipal By-laws stipulate that you must obtain a tag for your dog. A loose dog without a tag is, if you fail to reclaim it, sent to the SPCA at the corner of Décarie Boulevard and Jean-Talon in Montréal. It will then be your responsibility to go and claim it. The cost of a dog tag is a small price to pay for the peace of mind it buys.
Fine for loose dog: $50 + $25 fees = $75
Fine for contravening Town bylaws: $50 + $25 fees = $75
Pollution by dogs
When you walk your dog, you must always carry what you need to pick up after it and effect proper disposal. Failure to pick up after your dog makes you liable for fine of $50 + $25 fees = $75
Park Curfew
A curfew is set at 10 pm by municipal bylaw for all parks in the Town, from rest areas to parks with playground facilities. The parks may not be used or visited before 6 am. Minors or adults who fail to respect the curfew are liable for a fine of $50 + $25 fees = $75.
Individual Garage Sale
A permit is required for all garage sales. Permits cost $5 and are valid for two consecutive days. Households are entiteld to one permit per year. What you have to do is to go at the City Hall to obtain it.
