Montreal is an island and along its shores or in the City, extend 17 parks totaling approximately 2000 hectares. Places of recreation and leisure, these large parks allow recreational activities, educational, cultural, sports, outdoor and hold large festivals. Some, nature parks, are distinguished by a conservation mission and have an architectural heritage, fauna and rich flora. Two of these parks are located near the boundaries of the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.
