Ecology Day

Ecology Day is an annual environmental fair that takes place in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and it is a project of the Environment Committee. It is an event whose aim is to sensitise the population to the local ecology of the region and promote ways of protecting the natural environment and making lifestyle choices that promote sustainable living. The event began in 2004 and has attracted countless numbers of people and institutions to support it.

People can learn about the area's local flora and fauna by meeting live animals up close with zoologists from the ecomuseum and also find out where to see nature up close in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Ecology Day always occurs in conjunction with the regular Saturday Farmers’ Market which this year is located on Lalonde street at the corner of rue Sainte-Anne. Come see us next year!
